This shot by Aquadiver reveals rarely documented marine behaviour. He writes: “These sea stars were all feeding on the carcass of what was probably a young sea lion. You can see bones in the photo. I could also see fur.” Shot at Cannery Row, California, with a Canon Powershot A620. 1/60@f5.6 with flash. Wish I shot that!

Norwegian diver  took this sharp shot of a stalked jellyfish in Eidsfjord, Norway. He writes: “Not all jellys live the mobile free-swimming existence. An goup known as stauromedusae have forsaken the medusa stage and live their entire lives in the benthic zone”.  Shot with a Canon Powershot G7, 1/60@f3.2. Wish I shot that!
