DivinginMalaysia.com scans hundreds of news sources every day from around the world to bring you the latest news about marine life.
Here, you’ll find stories about marine conservation, marine behaviour and marine science here. Occasionally, there’s scuba diving news and displays of great photography of marine life. And of course, sometimes there’s bits of news from Malaysia (hence the name of the website, ta da!).
Not everything makes it onto these pages. We’re getting more stringent on the quality of news. A lot of stories often have facts left out of them. Or sometimes they’re “in progress” news. Those don’t get published.
And unless they’re really newsworthy, you also won’t find any more news about deep sea explorations, the latest shark attacks, whale/turtle/dolphin beachings or rescues, finger-wagging from NGOs, fishing results, name-calling between environment groups and governments, stories from rivers and lakes or scuba deaths. Basically, you won’t read news that’s too localised or too technical or just repetitive.
